Crawfordsville – Mrs. Mabel Mace, 73, mother of Mrs. James (Marilyn) Bennett of Lafayette died at 12:25 a.m. Saturday in Ben Hur Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. She was born in Westville, Ill and graduated from Crawfordsville HS in 1925. She lived in Indiana for a time before moving to Texas. In 1929 she was married to Everitt W. Mace. He died March 1981. Mrs. Mace was a member of Order of Eastern Star in Indianapolis. Surviving with the daughter, Mrs. Bennett are another daughter, Mrs. Walter (Merita) Downham of Logansport; and a son, Everitt William Mace of Austin, Texas. - kbz
